From power on to ready to smoke: approximately 8 minutes. In practice, this runs concurrently with your setup. Start preheat, then fill the base, attach the hose, pack your bowl. By the time those are done, VOLTA is ready.
If you're using the ShishaX app over WiFi, you can trigger preheat before you even sit down. The 8 minutes starts from whenever you send the command, not from when you start setting up.
Tobacco: around 10 grams
VOLTA is designed around approximately 10 grams of tobacco per session. This gives the best balance of flavor, even heat distribution, and session length. Going under and the bowl runs hot and fast. Going over and you're fighting for airflow.
